Second Corvallis airfield on Herbert Avenue

Description
  • Lyndon Airfield was located about 1 mile north of the present Corvallis Municipal Airport, west of Highway 99 W on Herbert Ave. It was operated by Dick Lyndon (Lyndon Airways). It was abandoned in 1942. The aircraft at the right of flight line is a Fairchild 24. The airplane second from the left is a Rearwing Sportster. Next to the last plane is a 1936 Alexander Eaglerock.
