- Manuscript comprises 229 vellum folios and has five distinct parts. The 1st two folios are missing; At the end of the 2nd part, Renier de Gennes, eight folios are missing. These were missing in 1883.

- 45 lines in two columns; irregular cropping at top, recto; ruling instrument: dry point, lines 2mm apart.

- Bookplate with coat of arms mounted on inside cover reads: Bibliotheca Phillippica. From the collection formed by Sir Thomas Phillipps Br., 1792-1872, purchased by private treaty by William H.
