| Description/Note | White cross topped by crown attached to green ribbon with red edge stripes. Insignia for Appointment as Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. Consists of gold plated and enamel cross with superimposed crown and ribbon to go around the neck, about 2 inches. Also, a cross superimposed on a sunburst, to be worn as a brooch, 3 inches diameter, also a small cross on a ribbon, 1/2 inch diameter, also a ribbon 1 1/2 inch long with two bronze crowns. |
