She is standing on a round flat coiled cedar root mat that is lying on a Pendleton blanket. To the right of the backdrop is a wooden walkway. She has her hair in braids and is wearing a cornhusk hat with a "v-shaped" geometric design. She is dressed in a fringed, short-sleeved, beaded buckskin dress. Beads are attached to the fringes on her shirtsleeves, knee and hem areas. There are rows of decorative beads that extend from her shoulders down the front of her dress. She is wearing a necklace and a choker. She has bracelets on both arms and an armband showing on her right arm. She has a beaded belt that has a square geometric design. She is holding a beaded bag in her right hand that has the design of a deer. From under her dress can be seen leggings and beaded moccasins. |
