She wears a basketwork hat, a decorated buckskin dress, a number of necklaces and arm bands, and carries a bag decorated with a deer pattern. On the wall behind her are bags, feathers, cradleboards, crossed swords, and furs.
TCI NotesAn interior photograph of a woman in regalia standing in front of Major Moorhouse's collection of different regalia. She is wearing a beaded buckskin dress, necklace, cornhusk hat, a scarf around her waist, and in her left hand is a beaded bag. She is standing on a coiled cedar root mat that is on top of a fur pelt. In the background on the wall are many different objects. Some of these objects have appeared in many other Moorhouse photographs.

Capture MethodScanned in transmissive mode with Silverfast AI 6.0 on UMAX PowerLook III flatbed scanner. Levels adjusted from 0 - 1.00 - 255 to 24 - 1.00 - 192 prior to capture.

Processing HistoryScanned image enters Photoshop with negative polarity and reversed orientation. Archived tiff is saved. Adobe Photoshop used to reorient and crop image, invert image to positive polarity, set and neutralize shadow and highlight point, adjust midtone contrast, and desaturate color information. Second production tiff saved, retaining adjustments layers. Photoshop used to convert color profile from Adobe 1998, to sRGB, set resolution to 125 dpi and resize the largest pixel dimension of the image to 875. Display jpeg saved after resizing.
