Kneeling on his right knee a few yards below what is commonly called Elephant Rock. This rock formation is significant Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) oral history. The photograph is in stereo. The image on the right side is showing more of the rock formation just behind Charley Whirlwind Sr. |
